Earlier this year, both the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL debuted with unprecedented amounts of hype surrounding them. After months of now-ironic articles about how the phones are now the best Android phones ever made, Google has finally decided to launch their next flagship with a very different strategy. At Google’s Fall hardware event, the Pixel 3 XL was unveiled—a phone that is actually better than the last few Pixel phones. Its revolutionary design, both in terms of its size and the way it looks, has become the new standard for what an Android phone should be.

Which one do you need? There are so many choices these days. And it has gotten to the point where you can’t even decide which gadget you need. Cell phones, tablets, two-in-ones, laptops, e-readers, fitness trackers, smart watches, smart home accessories, drones, baby monitors… the list is never ending.
SSDs have evolved from high-priced novelty items to daily necessities. As storage costs continue to fall, more consumers are opting for SSDs over traditional HDDs.
Costs are also being driven down by increased competition among SSD makers. However, this has resulted in an abundance of SSDs on the market, making the decision for ordinary customers very difficult.
Furthermore, several vendors provide numerous versions of the same SSD. This article compares the QVO, EVO, and PRO versions of Samsung SSDs. We’ll use the 860 SSD as a baseline since it’s available in all three versions.

Samsung produces SSDs for two distinct applications: enterprise and general usage. Data integrity and transfer speeds are prioritized above pricing in Enterprise SSDs. The conventional ones, on the other hand, are designed to be less expensive while still providing much quicker speeds than a typical mechanical HDD.
PRO SSDs are the most expensive, followed by EVO and QVO SSDs. This is because MLC, TLC, and QLC are utilized to enhance the capacity of NAND flash chips, which are the fundamental components of an SSD.

PRO SSDs are the quickest, as you would expect based on the pricing, followed by EVO and finally QVO. The MLC, TLC, and QLC utilized in SSDs, which are the writing and reading mechanisms of the NAND flash chips, are the cause for this.

The drive you choose is largely determined by what you plan to do with it. If you want one for your business PC, we recommend swallowing the bullet and getting the PRO series.
Choose the EVO if you want a drive that strikes a balance between performance and affordability, and the QVO if you want to replace your old HDD with an SSD in a computer that you use every day.
