The cubes and their impact, which is delivering more than corruption; it’s also ripping up portals to a monster-filled world known as the Sideways, is the main hook of this season’s overall storyline.
This effect may be observed in some parts of the island known as Sideways Zones, which attract monsters from throughout the world. Fortunately, players may use unusual weaponry like the Sideways Rifle and Sideways Minigun to fight these creatures.
In addition, players can find Shadow Stones scattered throughout the island that allow them to transform into a shadow apparition for a limited time, and the season brings an overarching community initiative that asks players to turn in Bars to Turret Station construction sites and decide which new weapons to develop and unvault.
There’s also a brand-new battle pass, which includes several exclusive skins from the game’s world as well as a cross-promotional skin that allows players dress up as Carnage from the Spider-Man universe.
